The cross-cut foam pad is one of the foam pads with the cuts on the foam pad in vertical and horizontal positions to effectively absorb heat and compounds through the cuts and allow even distribution of the compounds on the car surfaces. It professionally removes swirls, paint defects, stains, and oxidation using rotary or dual-action polishers with hook and loop attachment, while the thick foam allows smooth contouring. They are color-coded for using specific detailing processes: Cutting (Green), polishing (Yellow), and finishing (Red or Black).
